Enstars Open RP and Voice Test

Hello producers! This is an 100% judgement free open post for people looking to both voice test and just muck around now that we've all got the english release of music. New and old are welcome here and this post is free to be passed around! You do not have to know me in order to post here.
Quick Rules:
1. This is for voice testing so be kind of others trying out characters for the first time.
2. Label how concerned with spoilers you are in any top-levels as a lot of us are still catching up on the story from Basic.
3. Respect content warnings and opt-outs anyone may have. Enstars is a buckwild canon! Not everyone is comfortable engaging with certain parts of it and there's nothing wrong with that.
4. Have fun its idol time babey
Prompts
Ensemble Square
Renting out a training room, holding a meeting, having a Live, scuttling around on the roof because someone left you unsupervised and not even god himself has dominion over your whims? There's lots to choose from. Get some practice in, grab a bite to eat at the cafeteria, go nuts.
Work
Whether its handing out fliers or doing meet-and-greets, you gotta earn that sweet sweet
Yumenosaki
Go to class because it's not enough to have a full time job on top of everything else. At least you can ditch for work, but that doesn't mean you can ditch forever. Drag yourself to class, or be dragged by someone else, and get that sweet idol education.
Around Tokyo
You have a day off?? Huh. Oh well, better make the best of it! ES is smack in the middle of Tokyo so there's plenty to go see and do. Go find a nice cafe, go shopping, find a nice park, visit a shrine. You'll probably not get recognized by the general public, right? Good luck.

These are just suggestions for prompts! Feel free to post and tag with whatever you want! I will also have a TFLN top level below for further hijinks.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to this journal and PM me.

Mayoi Ayase | Finally this hell has claimed me
[Square - A]
[You think you're alone. You are not. Where ever it is you might be enjoying your lunch, you will look away and then look back and find the grapes on your plate missing. You were neglecting them after all!]
[No need to worry about it.]
[Square - B]
[You are minding your own business when there is suddenly a loud, high pitched squeal, like metal scraping together, a scream not unlike that of a frightened little girl, and then a loud crash.]
[Should you investigate you will find a hole in the ceiling, a warped and damaged ventilation pipe, and a pile of ceiling debris.]
[And also Mayoi. He's alive! Probably.]
[Phantom of the Idol Stage]
[It's late at night and the building is quiet, with nary an idol awake and wandering about. Should you choose this time to train, it's said you could be visited by the mysterious phantom that haunts these halls.]
--Eek! Sorry!
[Or maybe just this really anxious guy who looks like he's about to escape into the vent rather than give advice.]
I-I Didn't mean to startle you! I'm nothing but a wretched, filthy stain upon this world, so don't look too hard at me! I'm sorry!
square, b
Eichi approaches, looking completely unhurried and unconcerned about the fact that an idol has just crashed through the ceiling. He brings his hand to his chin, considering the hole for a long moment. ]
Perhaps it would be in our best interests to reinforce the ceiling.
no subject
[He wasn't. He hid in the fucking ceiling because the presence of this person made him want to turn himself inside out. That does not stop him from doing things like living in the walls or filching a Master Key to come and go as he pleased and it seems, for whatever reason, they have had a strange unknowable truce, like when he lost some of his basement to make up for the damages of the Live Gone Awry.]
[That does not mean that Mayoi has ever wanted to actually talk to Eichi Tenshouin ever for the entirely of his miserable little life and he was content to spend the rest of his years this way.]
[Fate's a bastard.]
T-The water damage from the l-leak two months ago has- has caused weakness in the s-s-structure of the vents, T-Tenshouin-san.
[He has not moved from the ground. In fact he may be paralyzed with fear.]
no subject
But --
But it's kind of funny, and Eichi's just a little bit of a bully. ]
I see. [ Eichi does, in fact, see the damage once he's looking for it, even if he has virtually no knowledge about... like, vents. Or ceilings. ]
If you have the time to write up any information about the vents and ceiling areas in need of maintenance, I can make sure it's added to the next budget.
[ A beat, and then: ]
I'd hate to have someone get hurt because of it. Are you alright?
no subject
[He jerks himself upright, leaving behind a distinctly Mayoi-Shaped impression in the plaster and particle board rubble. His body cracks like someone twisting a fistful of bubblewrap.]
I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm just filth that belongs with the rest of the garbage on the floor, don't trouble yourself with something like me!
[He gets to his feet proper and bows. He bows a few times.]
I'll make a very thorough report! A-Ah, if I may, there are other concerns I have about the building... I could include them...
[He knows this building as he knows his own flesh and blood body, after all. There is nothing he doesn't know.]
Phantom
Mayoi-san?
[He smiles, and it's a bit sheepish.]
I'm the one who should be apologizing. I startled you by coming out of the practice studio, didn't I?
no subject
A-Ah ...Tatsumi-san. N-No, don't apologize. I was the one slinking along the shadows like a ghoul.
[Though ...he is a little surprised to see Tatsumi out this late. It's Aira he usually expects to catch practicing when he thinks no one is noticing.]
...Were you practicing just now?
no subject
I was. I've been having trouble with one of the step combinations, and thinking about it was keeping me awake.
no subject
[No, there is nothing wrong with practicing late at night, Mayoi is just a worrywart and as their trainer he's already running through a few scenarios for the cause of something he wasn't expecting.]
[Aira is brand new to being an idol and is prone to lots of overthinking and self doubt, so that is who Mayoi has come to expect out late practicing. He makes a habit of checking on him when he can so he doesn't over do it.]
[Tatsumi, on the other hand, is a fully trained idol with lots of experience. He's the one who picks up things the quickest, since Hiiro, for all his untapped natural talent, is still a novice, and that doesn't stand up to the years of experience Tatsumi has on all of them. No, the thing that Mayoi is frequently on the look out for with Tatsumi is his leg injury. That is why their steps are lower impact than, say, Eden or even Switch. So, if something is bothering Tatsumi, keeping him up late at night, then there is a chance it has something to do with the steps reacting poorly to Tatsumi's injury.]
[That is a cause for concern, and needs to be addressed, Mayoi thinks.]
[He's been quiet for an awfully long time, but maybe Tatsumi can see all the gears turning in Mayoi's head. After a moment he seems to snap to.]
I-I see! Ah- Tatsumi-san. Would it- I'm sorry for troubling you but, may I ask if you were able to sort it out ...? Or is it perhaps something I could assist with...?
no subject
He does see Mayoi trying to think through why he might be out so late, though, and realizes he has well and truly been caught. Mayoi isn't stupid, not by a long shot, and he's especially wise in this area. All Tatsumi can do is relent.]
You aren't troubling me. I think I'm the one troubling you. [He smiles.] I was going to bring it up tomorrow, but... now is as good a time as any, isn't it? Maybe between just the two of us, we can work it out without worrying the others.
no subject
No! N-not at all! I'm ...I'm your trainer, so if there is anything I can do, I want to help.
[But he sees also Tatsumi wants to be discrete. He understands, though he does frown.]
Alright. I ..I know somewhere we can go, and maybe you can tell me a little more about it on the way...?
no subject
Mayoi, as he says, is responsible for this part. He shouldn't have been trying to handle it on his own, should he? How foolish.]
You're a very good listener, as always. I'm sure you'll understand. Please lead the way.
no subject
[Mayoi would never call him foolish, but perhaps he will try to be a little more approachable in the future. He knows he's a strict teacher, and he does feel bad about it, even if he knows it's for the best, but he doesn't want anyone to think they can't come to him if there's an issue.]
[So, Mayoi will nod and lead Tatsumi on a very interesting little journey. He takes him down the hall to ...a faculty elevator, where he pulls out a keycard way more important than any of the cards the others might have, scans it, and takes them up.]
So ...what part of the routine is Tatsumi-san having trouble with?
no subject
He's following, but... where are they going with this wild clearance??]
The bridge before the second chorus. The step combination with the pivot turn and second turn after that. It's the second turn, it strains my injury just a bit. I just don't want anyone to change the choreography on my account, since it's such an important part of the song, so I'm trying to think of ways to adjust it.
no subject
[The elevator has no music and it creaks a little more ominously than the normal elevators. However, it lets them off a few floors up. Once out, Mayoi leads them through a small office to a large window. Outside of the window is a garden? It's not huge, maybe the size of their dorm room, and not open to the public. A small decorative garden to be in view of a few office windows.]
[Mayoi slides a finger down the side of the window until hitting an invisible latch and pops the window open.]
[There. A private little space for just them. Now that they're here, Mayoi has had time to think. He pulls out his phone.]
Let's run through it once, so that I can see.
no subject
They maybe shouldn't be here, but that is a problem he can ignore, for now. The choreography is more important.
He finds a clear spot in the garden, marveling up at the clear view of the night sky for just a moment before taking a deep breath. Then he launches into a quietly sung version of the few lines before the bridge, along with the accompanying choreography. When he gets to the set of steps, sure enough, there's a brief, almost unnoticeable stutter in his movement. He goes through to the end of the sequence like an absolute pro, then relaxes and looks to Mayoi.]
I do think I can do it if I don't do it often. Because of that, I was considering not saying anything at all. I also think it may be a case of me worrying about hurting it more than actually hurting it. What do you think?
no subject
[The stars are certainly a reason he also picked this spot, in addition to the privacy. This is one of his favorite little hidden gems.]
[Anyway, Mayoi watches Tatsumi's movements with the sharpness of drill instructor. The stutter is almost unnoticeable, but Mayoi sees it very clearly. He thinks it over for a moment, before he takes up the spot beside him and runs through it himself, stopping in the same place as Tatsumi. He gives a thoughtful hum.]
I think ...the strain of the pivot may be the true culprit, making that second turn harder than it should be.
[Tapping his chin, he's thinking of a few alternatives already.]
Ah ...while it may be the case of ...being shy of the injury, I would hate for you to ignore unnecessary pain for the sake of our performance. The pain of such a thing ...there's no getting rid of it so long as you dance as an idol, so the pain you endure must be necessary and measured, so that you do not do something far worse to yourself on accident. I would hate- A-All of us would hate- for you to suffer like that.
no subject
Once again, your insight is the most precious thing. [He smiles, though it's a little uneasy.] Do you think we'll have to change it? The choreography, I mean...
[Aira and Hiiro already work hard enough. Making them learn a minute change at the last second might be... bad.]
no subject
[He is here to help Tatsumi, after all, he can ignore his self-loathing long enough to do what needs to be done.]
I-I think that we have ...a few options. You could possibly try to shift your weight differently on that pivot to take some of the weight off the injury.
[He does not sound as confident about that one, so he goes into the next idea.]
Or ...we can shift the choreography just a little. Ah, I think, Tatsumi-san, could you do the steps again, but instead mirrored so the pivot and turn are on the opposite leg?
no subject
He nods along to Mayoi's suggestions.]
I think so. From just the bridge?
[He does it kind of halfway for a moment, as if figuring out where best to start the mirroring, then nods again and starts over. It definitely works better for him mirrored, and the stutter in his movements is gone. What's more, it definitely hurts exponentially less. So he smiles, then does it again properly.]
Yes, that works just fine. Do you think... Since you and I are in the back for that part, maybe we can both mirror ours? Is it too distracting to split the group like that, visually?
no subject
Yes.
[And he waits and watches, that sharp, keen look ever present. He smiles much more pleased this time, once he's done and nods once Tatsumi seems to have caught onto his plans somewhat.]
I think- I think exactly because we are in the back, if we both did those steps as a mirror to Aira-san and Hiiro-san in the front, then the unit symmetry will still work, and may ...actually add nice visual diversity to that part.
[Yes, actually, now that he is thinking about it, he kind of likes the way it looks in his head. He looks up after a moment.]
You and I ...we can relearn those steps very easily I think, and so we won't have to trouble Aira-san and Hiiro-san with any changes. H-How do you feel about ...about that...?
no subject
I like that idea. Besides the fact that it's easier on them, it's also nice to do something special with you every once in a while, too. [Maybe that comes off as kind of cheeky, and he doesn't entirely mean for it to. But it is their place to hold up the other two, to teach them certain things and watch over them. ALKALOID works on compromise, on taking things one day at a time, and finding strengths where there appear to be weaknesses.]
Being in a group is still very different from being solo. I'm glad we have you to help me with the bigger picture.
no subject
[His smile becomes very genuine in the three seconds before what else Tatsumi says sinks in. He practically puffs like a startled cat, and his face immediately burns red with embarrassment?? Maybe something more, honestly. It was still a very forward statement that made Mayoi weirdly giddy and anxious.]
E-Eh?! Ah-i-its nothing special. W-We um. We have plenty of duet moments, don't we...? Do you want more...?
[Ah, no, squash that thought down!! He cannot let any of his own twisted wants interfere with his job! Terrible, terrible...]
S-Sorry. Ignore all of that. I'm...I'm glad I could help. That I can be of use to everyone in ALKALOID.
no subject
Do we have plenty? I wouldn't mind more. [He glances up for a second, as something lands in Mayoi's hair. Stepping in closer, he raises his hand to pluck a fallen leaf from where it landed on Mayoi's head.] Actually, that's not quite right. I'd like more.
[He smiles again and drops the leaf off the to side.]
Since we're both the most experienced, a solid performance from us will always help, won't it?
no subject
[And yet.]
A-Ah...
[Tatsumi comes in close and he feels himself freeze up, as if going perfectly still will silence all within him and maybe even Tatsumi won't be able to feel the evil churning in him under the surface.]
Yes... You and I, we fall in step in a way ...that I find to be very satisfying.
[He fights not to tremble, but its notable that despite his jumpy nature, Mayoi has not shrunk back away from Tatsumi's approach, or even his touch.]
